Up To 100 Passengers
Overview: The coolest mode of transportation to invade Tampa Bay in a century or two. The bright yellow fleet of five water taxis can easily be seen by residents and visitors along the waterways, the largest taxi, Captain Jack II, can accommodate up to 100 passengers, looking to explore the many shops, museums, attractions and restaurants located along the Riverwalk. Taxis servicing the river route also sell beer, wine and seltzers.
The water taxis operate daily more frequent stops on the weekends and during special events. The current route features numerous stops conveniently located along the Riverwalk, Channelside District and Davis Island including stops at Sparkman Wharf, Armature Works the Florida Aquarium and Curtis Hixon Park.
Entertainment: Beautiful views, whimsical historical narration, and concessions.
